Aerobic Classes

Do you want to get fit and tone your body whilst having fun? Our fantastic range of high and low intensity aerobics classes offer full body workouts with many health benefits such as strengthening muscles, reducing stress whilst getting the heart pumping!

Aerobic exercise helps you keep your weight at a healthy level, the physical activity reduces your risk of developing some diseases, such as heart disease and diabetes.

With a healthy body comes a healthy mind! Not only does aerobic exercise keep you fit physically, but it also helps to reduce stress and helps boost your mood. If you want to increase the aerobic activity you do each week to maintain your health and improve your fitness, how about joining one of our Bluecoat Sports aerobics classes? They’re free to book for all full and classes members and can also be booked on a pay as you go basis for anyone else.

Buggy Fit

A brand new drop in session, starting January 2024!

This session will provide a friendly and supportive social environment where you can get your body moving & meet like-minded mums after birth. Follow our qualified instructor’s guidance as they take you through a functional whole-body approach with elements of low impact cardio, core, pelvic floor restores and toning exercises with body weight and resistance bands.  

You must have been signed off by your doctor (around 6-12 weeks depending on type of delivery) before starting any postnatal fitness programme.

Virtual Indoor Cycling

It’s time to reinvent the wheel! From virtual reality landscapes to the great outdoors, each class will take on a different format to really mix up your workout routine. Rest assured, the virtual instructors will keep the motivation levels high as they lead you through this great endurance based cardio workout using stationary bikes. This session is all about setting your own goals & keeping to them!

Family Circuits

Join us for Family Circuits and get the whole family moving! This 45-minute-high intensity interval training class is designed for parents and children to train together! This class requires high levels of energy to keep up with the kids whilst our team put you through your paces. Work to your own limits, incorporating strength, cardiovascular and core exercises. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. Family fitness made fun!

Interval Training

Our Interval Training class is a full body workout that is sure to get your heart pumping. As the name suggests, this class lets you push your own limits during repeated intervals of exercise and rest. Interval Training is led by one of our experienced instructors, who will teach you high intensity body weight exercises to build strength and endurance. Body Combat

Get your sweat in our addictive martial arts inspired training session! Punch and kick your way through this high energy Les Mills Body Combat class. Bootcamp Extreme

Up for an extra challenge? Be prepared to be pushed to your limits in this full body 45-minute cardiovascular and functional strength workout. Our Fitness Team will challenge you with new exercises each week. During Bootcamp Extreme, you can expect to use a range of equipment, including slam balls, tires and kettlebells. Work outside your comfort zone and see your fitness abilities improve week on week. Minimal rest, maximum results!

Indoor Cycling

Indoor Cycling is a great endurance based cardio workout using stationary bikes. These classes are high intensity ‘HIIT’ workouts with intervals and recovery periods to really get your heart pumping. Push your limits and reach your own fitness goals under the guidance of our motivating team of instructors. If you can catch your breath, you can even sing along to the tunes. Once you’ve started with group cycling you may never stop!

If you are a beginner, please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start to discuss how to use your bike with your instructor.

Legs, Bums, Tums and Arms

This class takes on the same format as our Legs, Bums and Tums class, with the additional focus of building strength in your arms. Our instructors will target each area with tailored exercises to strengthen and tone your muscles. You can expect to use a variety of body weight exercises, including lunges, abdominal crunches and press ups. Feel stronger, tone your muscles, and have fun in the process!

Circuit Training

This class uses equipment and body weight exercises to give you a full body workout, combining resistance training with high intensity aerobics. Aqua Aerobics

Our Aqua Aerobic classes provide a great cardio workout within the shallow parts of the pool. Whilst waist deep in the pool, work against the resistance of the water to strengthen your whole body under the reassurance that your joints and muscles are protected from any high impact exercises. Challenging yourself in our Aqua Aerobic classes will also work to improve your cardiovascular system. A great workout for all abilities!

Deep Water Aqua Classes

If you love Aqua Aerobics and want to take it to the next level, then this fun session comes with an added challenge.
