Racket sports give you a fantastic full body workout. You’re not just using your legs or arms but your entire body to move around the court and return the ball or shuttlecock to your opponent.
Whilst playing, you will strengthen your joints and muscles and build your stamina, working hard to improve your speed and agility to move across the court. Plus your brain gets a workout too as you need a strong strategy to beat your opponent! You will never lack someone to play here at Bluecoat Sports as we have a number of opportunities for you to meet new friends and play with other members and guests.
At Bluecoat Sports we have 6 squash courts, 6 outdoor tennis courts, and badminton, short tennis and table tennis facilities available to hire for members and non members alike! Simply book a court online for a date and time that suits you and get playing!

Badminton
At Bluecoat Sports we have excellent badminton facilities available, with badminton facilities ready to book seven days a week for members and their guests as well as non-members on a Pay As You Go basis. You’ll need precision for Badminton together with plenty of stamina, agility and strength as it can be a fast paced game and you’ll see your fitness levels quickly improve. Our Badminton facilities are ideal for players of all ages and abilities.
If you are new to Badminton and don’t own your own equipment then you are welcome to rent our rackets for £1.00 (a refundable deposit of £5.00 will be charged upon hire & refunded upon the safe return of the equipment).
Shuttlecocks are available to purchase at reception.
Squash
At Bluecoat Sports we have 6 state-of-the-art squash courts, including two which are glass-backed with a viewing area so your friends and family can cheer you on. We also have equipment hire available at no additional cost.

Tennis
At Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Centre we pride ourselves on having the best health and leisure facilities in the area. This includes 6 outdoor tennis courts that are free to use for full and rackets members and can be hired on a pay as you go basis for non members. Tennis is not just for Wimbledon! It’s a fantastic sport for both body and brain. Whether you’re the next Roger Federer or Serena Williams or want to play just for fun, come and join one of our outdoor Tennis sessions for members and non members which run throughout the week.
As a member or non member you can book a tennis court, perfect for playing with friends or family or if you want to get competitive with a fellow player!

Padel
We’re delighted to announce an exciting addition to our range of racket sport facilities: four padel courts! Padel is a fast-paced and energetic sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. With the availability of padel courts at Bluecoat Sports, members and non-members alike can enjoy this thrilling sport.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, you can book a padel court online and indulge in an exhilarating game. So, come and experience the unique fun and excitement of padel at Bluecoat Sports in Horsham!

Table Tennis
Our Table Tennis facilities are open to members, their guests and non-members on a Pay As You Go basis. Playing Table Tennis. Table Tennis is a great sport – It helps to burn calories, increase fitness and maintain health and agility.

Looking for something different? Short Tennis is played on half of the court – and will be twice the fun! Played with softer balls and a lower net, this game is a great way of keeping fit whilst playing either a sociable or competitive game.

Come & play your own game of Pickleball, an indoors game that combines tennis, badminton and ping pong. Members can bring up to 3 guests with them by paying the guest fee when they arrive. Please check-in at reception when you arrive.
