Goodbye Dance Fusion
As you may have heard, Lou is retiring from Dance Fusion at BCS. Before Emily takes the reins with an exciting new Dance Fit programme launching in September 2026, we’re inviting you to join us for one final celebration.
Mark your calendars for Friday 17 July, 18:30–20:30, and get ready for a glow-in-the-dark themed dance party! Expect all your favourite tracks from over the years, plenty of energy, and a chance to give Dance Fusion a memorable send-off.
Don’t miss this special evening as we celebrate Lou and dance our way into a brand-new chapter.
Summer Opening Hours
While Christ’s Hospital (the school) is closed for the summer holidays, our opening hours will be extended, giving you more opportunities to use the facilities at times where we have previously been closed.
A School Making a Difference
We are delighted to share that Christ’s Hospital has been awarded with a Significant Strength by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) – the highest recognition available under the current inspection framework.
Inspectors recognised the school’s impact on improving the life chances of the young people it teaches, highlighting its inclusive community, deeply embedded sense of belonging and the exceptional opportunities available to pupils across school life.
For almost 500 years, Christ’s Hospital has been committed to transforming lives through education and providing opportunity regardless of financial circumstance. This latest recognition celebrates the enduring impact of that mission and the difference it continues to make for young people today. As a member of Bluecoat Sports, you are part of our wider community and we are delighted to share this achievement with you.
