Sports & Remedial Massage
Did you know the health benefits of massage extend way beyond just soothing aches, pains and sports injuries? People have been using remedial massage as a way of relaxing for a long time now, but a recent study suggests that a rubdown is much better for you than you would think. Sports and remedial massage can improve muscle flexibility, help prevent injury and aid recovery time as well as assist with the mental preparation involved with preparing for sporting participation. It can also help you relax and improve your general well being.
At Bluecoat Sports, our masseuse is Lesley from Massage Solutions. She has trained with the LSSM in Sports & Remedial Massage and is registered with the ISRM (Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage Therapists), in fact, Lesley was qualified to work at the 2012 Olympics!

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage helps eliminate toxic build-up in tissue & strengthens the immune system. It can relieve many chronic conditions such as chronic sinusitis, chest infections, and catarrh, as well as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and constipation. This type of massage reduces arthritic and rheumatic pain, alleviates the symptoms of ME and can assist with controlling migraines. If you suffer with hormonal imbalances (puberty, pre & post-pregnancy, menopause) or fluid congestion, such as puffy eyes & face, swollen legs & ankles, menstrual bloating and pregnancy fluid retention then Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage can help assist with this.
