What is Yard Games?
Held every July, Yard Games is a friendly, high-energy fitness challenge from Bluecoat Sports, combining a mix of strength, endurance, and metabolic exercises across three zones. Challenges this year included deadlifts, running laps, squats, and jumps.
Open to participants aged 16+, the event caters to all abilities with both Pro and Novice categories. You can take on the challenge solo or join forces with a partner to tackle the course together. Hosted in our state-of-the-art facilities at Christ’s Hospital, the competition takes place in our popular outdoor gym, The Fitness Yard.
Since its launch, Yard Games has become a true community highlight – a lively, welcoming event open to members and non-members alike, along with spectators to cheer participants on.
