September Newsletter

What’s on?

We understand that knowing where to start at the beginning of your fitness journey is sometimes the hardest part. We’re here to help, with our Members’ Journey programme.

Induction

(30mins)

Meet with one of our Fitness Instructors, who will show you around the Fitness Suite and Fitness Yard. The instructor will demonstrate how to use the equipment safely.

Programme

(1hour)

Discuss your goals and any injuries you may have with one of our Fitness Instructors, who will then create a suitable programme, which you can follow along as time you visit the gym.

Programme Review

(30mins)

Catch up with your assigned Fitness Instructor to go through your programme and tweak the intensity or the exercises to ensure further progress is made.

The best part? If use of the fitness suite is part of your membership, it’s already included in what you pay (not available to PAYGO / PAYGO+ members). Simply book your Induction at Reception, or by calling us on 01403 247572.

Already had an Induction? Speak to one of the Fitness team about booking in your Programme appointment.

Thank you to the Members’ Forum group for highlighting that many of you had not heard of the Members’ Journey programme.

Mind Your Speed!

All users of the Club should be reminded that the roadway leading to and from the new BCS car park within the school site has a 15 mph speed limit.

Data from the speed sign recently installed here shows that 85% of drivers on this roadway exceed the speed limit.  If this trend continues, speed reduction features will need to be installed.

In the interest of safety, BCS, the school and residents who live on the site  would all appreciate everyone keeping within the speed limit on this roadway.
