What makes Padel unique?

Padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, and it’s easy to see why. It combines elements of Tennis and Squash into a game that’s fun, fast, and incredibly social.

Played outdoors or indoors on an enclosed court about a third of the size of a Tennis court, Padel is always played in doubles. The ball can bounce off the glass walls, keeping rallies going longer and creating a dynamic, entertaining flow of play.

Why it’s so popular

  • Easy to learn: The smaller court size and simplified techniques make Padel beginner-friendly.
  • Social & engaging: Always played in pairs, it’s great for making friends and encouraging teamwork.
  • Fitness friendly: Improves agility, coordination, and muscle strengthening without putting too much strain on the joints.
  • Low impact: Softer rackets and slower ball speeds make it suitable for all ages.

Tennis has been a favourite for generations, and for good reason. It’s a sport that combines technical skill, strategy, and stamina in equal measure, providing a full-body workout that’s both challenging and rewarding.

Played in either singles or doubles, players must master serving, volleying, and baseline play, which test coordination and mental focus as much as physical fitness.

The appeal of Tennis

  • For all levels: Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned player, Tennis can be played at your own pace.
  • Excellent cardio workout: Expect to improve your stamina, speed, and coordination.
  • Technique & strategy: Develops focus, timing, and mental sharpness.
  • Solo or doubles play: Enjoy a friendly singles match or team up for doubles.

How does Squash compare for fitness?

If you’re looking for a fast-paced indoor workout, Squash might be your perfect match. It’s known for being one of the most intense and calorie-burning racket sports, offering an excellent cardiovascular workout while sharpening reflexes and agility.

Played in a fully enclosed court, Squash involves two players hitting the ball against the front wall, keeping rallies alive with quick reactions and sharp anticipation. The pace is high, and rallies can last several minutes, so it’s both a mental and physical challenge.

The benefits of Squash

  • High-intensity workout: Burn calories quickly while improving cardiovascular fitness.
  • Quick reflexes & speed: Constant changes in direction sharpen your reactions.
  • Strength & coordination: Builds core strength, stability, and balance.
  • All-weather sport: Played indoors, so it’s perfect year-round.
