We’d like to thank everyone who took part in and supported Yard Games at Bluecoat Sports this year. It was our third Yard Games to date, and the first ever fitness event held on our brand new athletics track.
Nearly 70 competitors took on the course across our Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles and Doubles categories, pushing themselves through a testing mix of running, lifting and machine work to cross the finish line.
What is Yard Games?
Yard Games is a friendly fitness competition where participants of all abilities take on a course of strength, endurance and metabolic exercises in an effort to cross the finish line. This year’s programme had competitors working through a series of high-energy exercises, including a 400m run, deadlifts, kettlebell overhead presses, burpees, ski erg, rowing and more:
Whether you came to race for the podium or simply to test yourself against the course, everyone who took part should be proud of what they achieved.
