What is Yard Games?
Yard Games is a friendly fitness competition where participants perform a series of strength, endurance, and metabolic exercises in an effort to cross the finish line!
Held during the Summer, you can enter in either our Pro or Novice category, meaning all abilities can take part. Take on the race as a solo entry, or team up and take it on as a pair.

Anyone can take part! This is a friendly fitness event, meaning all abilities can participate. We recommend reading the event programme prior to signing up so you know how best to prepare.
Is there a minimum age to enter?
Yard Games is suitable for ages 16+.
Do I need any experience to enter, or is this suitable for beginners?
No, Yard Games is a fitness challenge that’s suitable for all abilities, including beginners. We advise checking the event programme before signing up so you know what to expect and how to prepare.
What does it cost to enter, and what’s included?
You can view all ticket information when booking opens via https://www.nice-work.org.uk/ – An exclusive event t-shirt and medal are included for all participants.
How do I register?

Where does Yard Games take place, and is there parking on site?
Yard Games takes place at Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club, just outside of Horsham. We offer free parking on-site.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear any workout clothes and trainers that you are comfortable moving in. Remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, as well as a hat and sun cream to keep you protected.
Are spectators welcome?
Yes! We love to welcome friends and family to cheer on participants. There is a café on-site and food at the event.
Can I use equipment during the event?
No. All necessary equipment is supplied by us.
Can I compete as a pair and solo?
You can only compete in one category. Either a pair or a solo.
Can we compete as a mixed pair?
Yes, we offer a mixed pair entry.
