Did you know that there can be up to 145 class spaces per week at Bluecoat Sports which have not been attended or cancelled? The result is space not being used effectively and some members not being able to book onto their favourite classes or sessions.
Listening to you
We’ve listened to members feedback over several months and we’ve closely monitored the level of non-attendance to sessions and bookings. Following this, Bluecoat Sports has taken the decision to introduce a penalty system from the 1st November 2018.
How to cancel a class
There are a number of ways you can cancel a class or booking:
- via your online booking account
- by emailing the club at cancelmybooking@christs-
- by phone on 01403 247572
- in person at the Reception desk
Penalties for non-cancellation
If a class, booking or session is not cancelled by the start time of the activity, then a charge of £4 will be applied. This is for both adult and children members. Non-members will lose the cost of the non-member price for the session they have booked onto.
Check in with Reception
Please make sure that you check-in at Reception before your session or booking, so that we know you are here. By confirming your attendance, you will avoid the new penalty charge.
Donating to charity
The penalty system is a non-profit making entity for the club, and all the monies from the penalties applied will be donated to charity. We will donate to a different charity each quarter.
We are delighted to have donated £552 to the British Heart Foundation. Our next charity of choice is Horsham Matters.
