Classes and Courses
We offer an extremely wide and varied programme catering for all ages and abilities. These include Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, Body Combat, Step and many more. In addition, we also cater for special groups such as the 50+ and Pre and Post Natal parents.
All of our dry side classes are free to Premier Members and the more popular classes do require pre-booking. Members are able to pre-book classes up to 7 days in advance. Non-members are able attend classes at a charge and are able to book 5 days in advance. Booking can be done by contacting reception and requesting the activity you wish to do.
Special Classes & Courses
Beginner Pilates Courses (6 weeks)
Pilates improves strength, flexibility, balance, control and muscular symmetry. The rhythmic exercises promote elongated and toned muscles and are noted for developing abdomen, lower back and buttocks strength, promoting a strong body core.

Class Information
Pilates
It is essential that all persons wishing to do Pilates take part in the beginner course to ensure a complete understanding of the principles. Having completed the course you are then able attend the Pilates drop-in sessions.
Timetable
The timetable is reviewed termly in line with the State School Timetable and is published in our Centre Brochure. The brochure is mailed directly to all Members approximately 10 days before the beginning of term and then released to the general public approximately 7 days before the beginning of term.
Instructor Qualifications and Training
All of our instructors are highly qualified and provide an excellent service. Bluecoat Sports encourages instructors to keep their training in line with current trends within the industry. We offer all our staff, including instructors, the opportunity to attend monthly training which covers various Health and Safety procedures, First Aid and fire evacuation.
Attire
It is advisable that all participants wear appropriate footwear for the specific class, however, in some instances such as Yoga or Pilates, footwear is not necessary. Clothing should be comfortable whilst promoting good circulation, stability and support, and conservation of energy
