Meet your Goals with Personal Training

Having a Personal Trainer may seem like something only wealthy celebrities would indulge in.  Nothing can be further from the truth.  One of the best goal-setting strategies is to consult a Personal Trainer in launching your fitness plan.

An experienced trainer can help determine what long-term goals are realistic for you; establish a series of specific, measurable short-term goals and create a customised exercise plan that will help you succeed!

Top 5 Reasons to try Aqua Aerobics

Not interested in swimming lengths?  Bored of the gym?  Well, Aqua Aerobics could be just what you’ve been looking for!

  • It provides a full body workout!  Whilst training in the water uses all of your major muscles, Aqua Aerobics uses music to provide a fun and relaxed environment.  It’s a great class for all round fitness and will certainly get your heart pumping.
  • Good for joints.  Working out in the water provides equal resistance through your full range of motion.  So this non-weight bearing activity allows you to improve your fitness without putting strain on the body.
  • Come with a friend.  You don’t have to work out alone; Aqua Aerobics has a great social side and is the perfect class to join in with a friend or meet new people.
  • No age limit!  Anyone can try Aqua Aerobics as it provides the same benefits to all.  Plus you can make the class as easy or difficult as you like.
  • Calorie Burn.  According to the Aquatic Exercise Association, you can burn between 400 and 500 calories per hour in an Aqua Aerobics class!  And because the class is in the water, you can exercise without overheating.

Pett Returns to Familiar Haunts with Win

After Olivier Pett’s performance in the Windy City Open Squash Tournament 2011 the former Bluecoats Sports Squash pro was at it again by being one of the first to reach the main draw buy beating Pakistan’s Danish Atlas Khan 3-1. (Full Report)

The Windy City Open, which last year saw Pett achieve his most notable performance to date with a run straight into the final where he went on to win beating Jan Koukal 3-0, will hopefully inspire Oli to continue on his path to the top.

Having seen Olivier develop on and off the court I am sure that all Bluecoat Sports Members will wish him luck in this tournament and his ultimate goal of getting to the top tier in world squash.  Currently ranked 66th in the world Pett needs to continue his good form and steer clear of any injuries.

Good luck Oli and we hope to see you soon.
