Bluecoats Sports Health and Fitness Club is in the unique position to offer its members an integrated programme of Pilates classes and courses.
Developed in the early 20th Century by Joseph Pilates in Germany, Pilates teaches that you use your mind to control the muscles to achieve a full body workout to improve flexibility, strength, endurance, muscle and coordination.
Our Pilates exercises are undertaken on the floor which allows you to focus on strengthening and streamlining core postural muscles while improving body alignment, freedom of movement and your overall fitness and tone. Participants must first complete a beginner’s course before attending these classes.
