Formerly Christ's Hospital Sports Centre, Bluecoat Sports Ltd was formed in February 2002.  As a registered charity, Bluecoat Sports aims to enhance the lives of the pupils and staff of the School and the surrounding communities through sport and wellbeing.

Reporting to a Board of Trustees which includes the Bursar of Christ's Hospital, an Almoner of Christ's Hospital, a past pupil of Christ's Hospital and 3 externally sourced business men & women with experience in a variety of fields the charities mission is;

Bluecoat Sports is a charitable trading company whose prime aim is to generate growing revenue streams from activities compatible with the goal to expand and encourage personal development through sports education, practical experience and leisure activities.

By building upon current activities, we aim to expand to further the aims of the Charity encompassing all spheres of the sporting world and leisure guaranteeing access for all ages and abilities.

Income generated from these activities will be channelled into further promoting the aims of the Charity through improving the quality of service or extending the range of activities in accordance with the Charity’s Mission and by supporting other like-minded organisations.

Balancing the needs of the School and those of our members can be difficult but we always try to maximise the use of all the facilities as best we can.
