Bluecoat Sports Health and Fitness Club is situated in the magnificent grounds of Christ’s Hospital School, on the outskirts of Horsham.  This dual use sports centre boasts an impressive variety of facilities including a 25 metre swimming pool, double size sports hall, split level fitness suite, a gymnasium, 6 squash courts, 15 outdoor tennis courts, a sauna, crèche and dance studio.

As the facility is dual use, it gives a rare insight into the work which is done by the Christ’s Hospital charity.  The school, which moved to Horsham in 1897, is home to approximately 800 full boarding pupils, who use the sports facility on a day to day basis.

As well as encouraging the pupils to participate in sporting activities, we actively encourage members of the local community to enhance their wellbeing by becoming members of the Club.  The wide range of facilities on offer provides our members with an excellent opportunity to build all round fitness as well as enhancing the mind and body in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

We cater for those who strive to learn and take great pride in our teaching skills, highlighted in our swim school which enrols approximately 3000 children from the surrounding community per year.  We also run National Pool Lifeguard and First Aid courses throughout the year, which are available to our members and non-members.
